I love this stuff, I wouldn't use any other sand to start a tank. I've been using this for every tank I've started . Iam mad you cant find this product in the store an it's no longer online. I hope you sale this again

Added the black reef sand to my tank. I have a painted the back outside of my tank black and with the black sand it really showcases my fish. Just beautiful. If you do as the instructions state...place empty bags on top of the sand and then add the water on top of the bags. (bags will float) but still pour water on the bags. The will water will clear in less than an hour. Durable, High Quality, Good Value, Easy to Use

Just starting out my salt water tank, this product was highly recommend. I enjoyed the ease of use, simple directions, and no brainier approach to this product.
It is critical that you get the correct start, this product guarantees you get that right start Live sand has everything your new tank does not. Only suggestion
would be to have it in a short bucket, then you can reseal, or store the unused portion for later.

Overall this is a very good product.but without a good filter to remove the fine partials it will take days to settle which I am sure that is the case with most sand products.

Started my Fluval 12 gallon tank with no problems, also I added Live Sand. Put some Fire Shrimps after a day and now have corals after a month. Did couple water changes every week.

Nutri-Seawater has made water changes a breeze for my nano reef. I have a very small reef set-up in a 6ga fluval edge, using the live seawater is perfect for 1 gallon weekly water changes. No issues watersoever with the corals, invertabrates, or fish.

I broke down and set up a tank and used all new sand. The tank has live rock, fish, inverts, and coral. I used 60lbs of this sand and there was no cycle it was instant. No spikes in water chemistry!
It can take up to 3 days for the water to clear as I have noticed in 3 other tanks. The use of water polishing pads by Flu Val really helped speed it along. These can be added to any filter.
